What’s New 🔥THRU-BOLT™ ULTRA, The Newest Certified Mechanical Expansion Anchor with extreme tensile strength and shear load capacities

THRU-BOLT™ ULTRA raises the bar for mechanical expansion anchors.

ICCONS’ THRU-BOLT™ ULTRA, a new mechanical expansion anchor designed for high-performance anchoring in concrete. • Facades & Cladding
  • Fixing heavy-duty brackets, shelving, and supports
  • Seismic Applications

Flexible embedment for demanding applications

One of the key advantages of THRU-BOLT™ ULTRA is its variable anchorage depth design. At standard embedment, it delivers high load performance, while deeper settings can provide even greater capacity. Reduced embedment options can also help minimise drilling effort and reduce the chance of reinforcement strikes on site.

This flexibility makes THRU-BOLT™ ULTRA a practical option where installation conditions vary from project to project, or where fixture thickness and embedment requirements need to be balanced carefully.

Designed for speed on site

THRU-BOLT™ ULTRA™ has been designed to support faster installation, with fewer turns required during setting and a coloured visual depth indicator to assist with embedment confirmation. For installers working across repetitive anchoring tasks, those details can make on-site installation more efficient and consistent, leading to savings.

Note: M20 version requires minimal borehole cleaning, with no brushing needed under the stated installation method.

Built for structural and non-structural concrete anchoring

THRU-BOLT™ ULTRA is designed for use in cracked and non-cracked concrete and is suited to a broad range of structural and non-structural applications such as structural steelwork, civil infrastructure and bridgework installation, MEP systems such as cable trays, ladders, pipe supports, HVAC ducts and utility channels, as well as façades, cladding, heavy-duty brackets, shelving, supports, seismic applications, timber construction and support structures.

Engineered for approvals, compliance and performance

THRU-BOLT™ ULTRA is ETA assessed for C1 and C2 seismic performance in cracked and non-cracked concrete. It also complies with AS 5216 and is NCC compliant and is fire resistance (R30 - R120).

It is approved for dynamic shock loads by the Swiss Federal Office, and M8 and M10 sizes are suitable for fibre-reinforced concrete. Optional adhesive filling with a filling washer is also available for enhanced seismic performance.

Takeaways and Benefits

THRU-BOLT™ ULTRA™ gives trades, engineers and specifiers a mechanical expansion anchor that combines high approved load performance with genuine installation flexibility. Variable anchorage depths help adapt the fixing to the job, shallow minimum embedment options can reduce drilling effort, and features like the visual depth indicator and fewer installation turns support faster, more controlled installation. With ETA assessed for C1 and C2 seismic performance in cracked and non-cracked concrete, fire resistance, NCC compliance and AS 5216 compliance, it is a strong option for projects where performance and compliance both need to be addressed.
