Product Summary
The ICCONS STA-EVO Hex is a heavy-duty mechanical expansion anchor for structural and safety-critical fixings in concrete. It uses a precision-engineered cone and expansion body so that, when tightened to the specified torque, the anchor expands evenly against the drilled hole. The one-piece sleeve splits into three segments that open together, spreading the load evenly around the hole rather than concentrating it at one point.
The STA-EVO Hex is suitable for cracked and non-cracked concrete, is compliant with seismic performance categories C1 and C2, and is fire rated. The anti-rotation segment holds the anchor in place during tightening, so installers can reach the specified torque without the anchor spinning in the hole.
Designed as a through-fixing, the STA-EVO Hex installs through the fixture in a single operation, keeping hole alignment accurate and installation efficient. It is available in sizes M8 to M24, and design support is available through ICCONS DesignPRO anchor design software.
