ICCONS® Takes Another Step Towards Sustainability with New Recyclable Packaging!

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, ICCONS is working to create smarter packaging solutions. As a member of Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), we use their data, insights, and guidelines to help guide our efforts. Our goal is to make recycling easier for our customers, which is why we’ve made sure that clear and simple recyclability information is included across all our product ranges.

In another important step towards reducing our environmental footprint, we are introducing new recyclable cardboard packaging to replace single-use plastic Trade Packs and Trade Tubs. This move is one of many that ICCONS is taking to contribute to a more sustainable future.

A Positive Step in Waste Reduction

By transitioning to recyclable cardboard packaging, we anticipate preventing around 80,000 plastic Trade Packs and 20,000 plastic Trade Tubs from going to landfill each year. This shift helps reduce plastic waste, fossil fuel consumption, and carbon emissions. It also ensures that our packaging can be repurposed into new products, rather than contributing to landfill and environmental pollution.
