UNI-BOLT™ is a compliant blind fastener for fixing into hollow section steel. Simply drill a clearance hole, insert UNI-BOLT™, and tighten to the specified torque. The sleeve expands out and bites into the inside of the hollow section resulting in a compliant steel connection.

Why can't I just fix a bracket onto hollow steel?
A closed RHS or SHS may not have rear access to position a backing nut to tighten onto. Without a fixing designed for one-side access, crews either weld, strap or tap, which are time consuming, require specialised tools, and deliver unreliable performance.

Why not just weld it?
Welding requires surface preparation where corrosion protection is sanded off steel, needs a hot-works permit and a fire watch, and requires painting or recoating over bare steel afterwards. UNI-BOLT™ avoids those extra steps. Simply drill the hole, install from one side and tighten to the specified torque.
