Project Details
In pest control, prevention is the best course of action. The team at Advanced Pest Control pre-construction division apply a physical polymer barrier impregnated with bifenthrin (insecticide). The polymer barrier is applied around the entire concrete slab to ensure the residence has full insect protection.
Previously, the polymer barrier would be fixed to the concrete slab using mickey pins™ or washered drive nails which are inherently time-consuming, laborious, and due to the installer position can be back-breaking work.
The Solution
The team at ICCONS had the perfect solution. Utilising ICCONS redesigned GT-6 Gas Nailer equipped with 17mm or 25mm hard concrete pins (GT6-17HC and GT6-HC22) alongside their 25mm washers (GTW25), combined to make the perfect polymer barrier to concrete fixing. The 25mm washers are easily positioned (with the use of ICCONS washer adaptor GTMA-25W) and fixed in no time.
Due to the drastically reduce labour time and user fatigue Advanced Pest Control has engaged the system across its pre-construction division and now has a full fleet of GT-6 Gas Tools in service.
