One of Melbourne’s most recognisable sites in St Kilda Pier is currently undergoing one of the state’s biggest ever pier upgrades with the $53 million redevelopment well underway. The huge investment will include a new curved pier with a wider and more accessible walkway, tiered seating, better access to the bay, clear views of the iconic city skyline and an additional 140 metre protected habitat for the famous St Kilda penguin colony. This project aims to enhance the overall visitor experience and ensure the longevity of the pier for future generations.

crucial role in the project with the introduction of the Celo Smart Nylon Strut
Clamp Fixing system to the sub-contractor "Kennedys Group”, who were appointed
to undertake the installation of the building services pipework to the 450m
long concrete pier deck structure.
As a viable alternative to choosing highly expensive stainless-steel clamping systems to fasten the polypropylene pipes to the concrete deck, the Celo Smart Nylon Clamp fixing system was selected for its corrosion resistance benefits and very fast speed of installation.
