ICCONS BIS-PE Pure Epoxy used in replacement of studs for coal terminal reclaimer rails at Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal, Queensland
Project Details
Queensland Complete Contracting Services (QCCS) commenced stage 1 with opposition adhesive. With an introduction through Chris at CCT Construction Supplies, ICCONS were able to meet with the QCCS contractors to explain the benefits of using BIS-PE Pure Epoxy, including support through ICCONS engineering network and also a complimentary offer to conduct Proof Tension Load Testing.
With the help of Matt King (ICCONS Engineer) with specifications and an installation test in the QCCS facility, the team were able to show how easy the ICCONS Pure Epoxy was to gun out over the opposition adhesive. This fact along with the performance benefits and backup service ICCONS could offer allowed ICCONS to secure the second stage of the project., which equated to approximately 700 tubes of BIS-PE Pure Epoxy in 585ml tubes
A follow-up call was made to site after installation, where ICCONS conducted Proof Tension Load Testing up to and over the required loads. QCCS will be regularly supporting ICCONS products in the future.
